When should I get an oil change?
Oil changes are essential for all gas-powered vehicles. These help keep the engine oil clean and efficient, and when done at the right intervals, will help your vehicle last longer. It's recommended that you change your oil every 6,000 miles with most newer vehicles and use the best synthetic oils like the ones we provide here for Kia vehicles. However, you might decide to get an oil change sooner because of your driving habits if you're a heavy commuter or traveler. Either way, you should always get it done and schedule an appointment with us as we can help you keep your vehicle on the road.

What are my brake service options and when should it be done?
The most common brake services are getting new brake pads and rotors. Usually, brake pads last around 10,000 to 20,000 miles depending on the wear, while rotors can go around 50,000 to 70,000 miles. There are signs when brake pads and rotors need replacing. Usually, you'll notice you have to press harder on the brake pedal to stop, or you'll hear squeaking and squealing noises as you brake. Brake services are important because you want to stay safe on the road for you and for others.
When should I get my battery checked or replaced?
Your car battery is what keeps you running. You want to make sure it has ample charge in it as you drive. Usually, a battery in your vehicle is going to last three to four years, depending on your driving habits. You'll know when your car battery is in need of a change. If it takes longer to turn the ignition over or your vehicle simply isn't starting and needs a battery jump on more than one occasion, and you haven't accidentally left vehicle lights running or are in frigid temperatures because in that case, sometimes you just need a jump and once your battery charges, you'll be okay.
We are here to offer car battery replacements and checks at the dealership so ask us if you have any questions.
What types of tire services should I keep up with?
There are multiple types of tire services you should have on your radar to keep your vehicle running at its best.
- Tire pressure monitoring is important because you need your tires inflated at the right levels for the safety of you and other drivers. You'll see an indicator light in the cabin if your tire pressure isn't inflated enough, and you can look in your owner's manual to see the right pressure needed for each Kia.
- Tire changes and rotations are also important. A tire change is when you need to replace tires because the wear has gone past the point of being a safe tire on the road. With a tire rotation, you are elongating your tires by moving them around to different spots so the tread wear is balanced and it lasts longer.
How do I get my headlight and taillights fixed?
Some people are confident enough to install their own headlights. Taillights require some more work, but in any case, we are here to help you get the right lights on your vehicle and make sure they work so you are safe on the road.
